A power flush is a cleansing process for you boiler, radiators or entire central heating system which removes any dirt, sludge, rust or debris that may have accumulated within your system over time. The power flushing unit sends water through your central heating system at a high velocity to remove the build-up, and often ‘cures’ a number of central heating problems in the process.
A power flush is also a good idea if you are getting a new boiler installed, but have an old system of radiators. It is a requirement that radiators are flushed before every new boiler installation, but power flushing has added benefits. One of our Copper Gas Safe engineers can inspect your radiators and facilitate a PH check, inspecting the balance of your system and looking for the presence of corrosive elements, which may indicate a power flush is needed.
